  1. I’ve mostly listened to various electronic music growing up. And obviously dabbled around with it myself. But orchestral sounds are closest to the heart, and I own one of their (older & smaller) libraries. I’ve lost count how many months/years of eating noodles so I could put cash towards the few orchestral libs I own. 🙂 Movie (and game) music I just love making, but not very good at it, at all (some is up on my SC), yet.

    Anyway, whoever gets to try this for a whole year will have LOTS of beautifully sampled EW orchestral instruments (and lots more!).

  4. Still surprised at how favorable Composer Cloud has been received given how much flak Adobe has taken/is taking over their subscription service. Maybe it does all come down to not stopping outright purchasing being the major factor. I wonder if Adobe will come around.

  11. I believe that it’s best to own your software licenses. How else will you get a job the day that business is bad and you can’t pay for your rented cloud software that you need to get more jobs? Perhaps I’ll change my mind once I try it. So hit me up, ok? 😉

  13. Although I never really liked subscription-based software, I might still consider subscribing at some point. This is much cheaper than buying a license – that is, unless you’re sure you’ll use it for years. I guess it can help to decide what to take when considering their CCC offer, too.
    Anyway, count me in ! 🙂

  19. Wow, this is a very generous giveaway! I already own a few EW libraries and like them very much, but have been hesitant to try out the composer cloud, mainly because of my current budget. This would be amazing!
