I’m still wondering, how it is playing on this (feel and touch of keyboard), how it sounds in reality and that little oscilloscope how it looks and works 😉 Would love to hear it in 70s progrock stuff !

Needed a double dose of Sue’s cogitation to find the ‘Desert Fox’ at 17a for last to go in by quite a way. Knowing the tree genus Sorbus helped for 6a, but I’d never come across that shortened form before. Orb for cycle not an easy connection to make and the b from 8d was vital.Sort of Toughie I most enjoy today – ie like one of the more taxing DT cryptics, and not a ‘purists’ Toughie….1a, 21a, 3d etc. Some nice clues.
What a wonderful recipe! I have a apple butter recipe for the crock pot that I love, but I didn't know that I could use up my leftover dried apricots this way. Every year my grandma sends dried apricots from the Salvation Army Women's Auxillary sale. Next year, I know what I'll do with them. Thank you!
