Eowave Quadrantid Swarm – The Eeriest Synth Of SuperBooth 2017 – (VIDEO)
|One of the quirkiest yet fascinating machines seen at SuperBooth 2017 was the Quadrantid Swarm, the latest synth from Eowave.
It’s a digital synthesizer voice with a percussive element, 2 pole analog filter, an LFO with 8 waveforms, and a spring reverb (‘more spring reverb!!!’)
The 8 touch keys can be used as a mono keyboard, polyphonic keyboard or an 8 step sequencer.
The unit shown at SuperBooth was a prototype unit (release date to be announced soon, estimated price €499) and we couldn’t help but ask Stuart from Eowave to tell us more about the Quadrantid Swarm and show us some of its features.
Watch the video below to learn more about Quadrantid Swarm and stay tuned for further Eowave-related contents.
FYI: this is an eerie, uncanny machine (perfect for drone, noise, ghost box-like sounds), not for the faint-hearted!
