The Audio Ease guys (we love their Altiverb and Speakerphone) just unveiled Indoor, a new interior acoustics plug-in for audio post-production.
In their own words, Indoor is “simpler, faster, more reliable better sounding and lighter on the CPU then ever before. It goes up to 9 channels, has click- and zipper-free changes that are instant, and adds AAX DSP. Also, Indoor has several motion modes, including input-pan-following reverb.”
At a first look, I like its single resizable window (I wish more developers would offer such feature!) and the overwhelming flexibility. The Audio Ease guys have sampled every room, hallway and kitchen from 10 different houses and vehicles, 60 spaces sampled from every angle. Just click to drop speaker and microphone in any room, or to open and close doors.
I believe Indoor will become another classic in audio production studios around the world. I only wish Audio Ease would offer a light version for smaller, indie studios (not everyone can easily afford that price tag!).
Check out this exhaustive video to know more about Audio Ease Indoor.
Price and compatibility $699 (requires iLok 2 key). AAX DSP / AAX Native, Audio Unit & VST. All plug-ins are available in 32 and 64 bits. Visit the Audio Ease website to read more and buy the plugin.
