Softube has officially released the highly anticipated Console 1 Fader Mk III, marking a significant evolution in their renowned Console 1 Mixing System. This new generation fader controller brings enhanced tactile control and workflow improvements to digital audio workstations.

Key Features

The Console 1 Fader Mk III boasts several impressive features:

Advertisements
  • Analog Feel™ Faders: Ten refined 100mm faders with capacitive touch provide a premium, console-like experience.
  • High-Resolution Displays: Each fader is accompanied by a high-resolution screen, offering customizable information such as track name, number, level meters, pan, and color.
  • Haptic Feedback: Intuitive haptic feedback communicates critical information to the user.
  • Multiple Operating Modes: Supports Console 1, Pro Tools HUI, Generic MCU, and UAD Apollo Central modes.
  • Param Mode: Allows quick customization of workflow by assigning various parameters to faders.
  • Dual USB-C Ports: Enables daisy-chaining of up to four Fader units without the need for a hub.

Enhanced Workflow and Control

The Console 1 Fader Mk III is designed to significantly improve in-the-box mixing workflows. Users can set levels, write automation, adjust pan, and select tracks with a tactile feel that closely mimics high-quality analog consoles. This hands-on approach allows mixers to focus more on their ears and less on their computer screens.

Versatility and Integration

As part of the Console 1 Mixing System, the Fader Mk III complements the Console 1 Channel Mk III, offering a comprehensive control solution for modern DAWs. Its versatility is further enhanced by the ability to customize workflows on the fly and the option to expand the setup with multiple units.

Availability and Pricing

The Softube Console 1 Fader Mk III is now available for purchase, priced at 999 USD / 1095 EUR / 12 849 SEK.

This release follows a successful pre-launch period, indicating strong interest from the audio production community (at ANR we’re still fond of the original Softube Console 1!). You can learn more about the product here.
