Sample Logic has released a new virtual instrument called World Fury that provides access to a diverse palette of world instruments and vocals. Built on a 7GB sample library of over 19,000 samples, World Fury aims to blur the lines between traditional acoustic instruments and modern sound design.
The 380 presets in World Fury are made from multi-sampled traditional instruments like lutes, chordophones, strings, reeds, and winds recorded around the world. Sample Logic then processes these organic samples using effects and synthesis to create unique hybrid tones. The presets cover a wide range of categories including ambient, synth, vocal, traditional, and more.
Finding the right sound is easy with World Fury’s tagging system that allows browsing by descriptive tags. Frequently used presets can be saved to favorites for quick access later. The streamlined interface also allows for quickly generating randomized presets for instant inspiration.
As from other Sample Logic libraries you can expect a highly curated set of sounds, ideal for sound design and cinematic purposes.
Made for Kontakt (not Player)
World Fury runs in the Kontakt engine and requires the full version of Kontakt 6.7.1 or higher. It is not compatible with the free Kontakt Player.
The 7GB of lossless compressed samples are provided at 44.1kHz/24-bit. Recommended system requirements are Windows 10 or later, or Mac OS 10.14 or later, with an Intel Core i5 CPU and at least 4GB RAM.
With its blend of global organic samples and modern processing, World Fury aims to provide a passport to creative world instrument sounds for music production.
