An Analogue-Inspired Odyssey – DEEP TECHNO EXCURSIONS & ANALOGUE TRANSMISSION

The guys at UNDRGRND SOUNDS may not like vowels but they sure enjoy analogue and character-loaded sounds. Among their recent releases, two caught my attention (and I believe they would be a valuable addition to many of our readers).

DEEP TECHNO EXCURSIONS
This is a 100% analogue excursion into the deeper, darker and atmospheric reaches of techno.

What You’ll Find In It
Hundreds of all-analogue loops and hits, evolving sounds, chords with melodic progressions, found sounds – all expertly produced.

Crafted from a slew of analogue synths including the Moog Minitaur, Roland SH-101 and Korg MS10, many of the sounds were additionally bounced to the Revox B77 Reel to Reel tape for some more buttery warmth and richness.

Taking inspiration from many sources (including classic analogue items like TR-909, JXP3 and Juno 106), this collection of electronic experiments effortlessly pulls together elements of classic Chicago house, Detroit techno, IDM, 80s electro and 90s deep house.
