French boutique Eurorack manufacturer Black Noise Modular has just announced several exciting new modules at Superbooth 2024 in Berlin. Known for their distinctive, innovative, and high-quality tools for sound design and music exploration, Black Noise is introducing the following modules:
VOLT 100 and VOLT 55 – USB-C Power Supplies
The VOLT 100 is the world’s first USB-C power supply for Eurorack capable of delivering up to 100W, allowing even the most power-hungry cases to be powered by a power bank. Key features include:
- Universal compatibility with any PD 3.0 compliant USB-C device
- Portability for powering your system anywhere
- Flexible design to adapt to any case in 3U or 1U format
The VOLT 55 is a more compact 4HP all-in-one module that can power systems up to 7U/104HP using a USB-C adaptor or power bank. It shares many of the same features as the VOLT 100 in a space-saving design.
The VOLT 100 is available for pre-order as a DIY kit starting at €269 or fully assembled for €319. The VOLT 55 can be pre-ordered fully assembled starting at €199.
GOMA Pro and GOMA II – Utility Mixers
The GOMA Pro is a 3-channel attenuverter/offset/mixer capable of high precision processing or high gain amplification and waveshaping. Each channel can attenuate, attenuvert, generate voltages, and more. They can be used individually or cascade mixed, with daisy-chaining to other GOMA modules.
The 4HP GOMA II packs 4 channels of attenuation, offset, mixing and voltage generation into a compact space. It expands on the original GOMA design with more channels and daisy-chaining to the rest of the GOMA family.
The GOMA Pro is available as a DIY kit for €59 or fully assembled for €139. The GOMA II starts at €49 as a kit or €109 assembled.
Black Noise Modular’s commitment to quality, sound and functionality shines through in these new offerings. The VOLT power supplies bring new levels of portability and flexibility to Eurorack, while the GOMA utility mixers provide powerful signal processing in efficient packages.
