Free TONEX Update Adds 8 New Effects
A free firmware/software update coming in November will add 8 new (time-based – yes, you heard it right!) effects to the TONEX ecosystem, including the TONEX Pedal, TONEX ONE, and TONEX Mac/PC software. The new effects include:
- 2 delays
- Chorus
- Flanger
- Tremolo
- Phaser
- Rotary (all tap-tempo)
- New spring reverb
Two new effects blocks can be configured pre- or post-amp and cab for maximum flexibility. This is big news, as time-based effect were one of the most popular requests from the TONEX user community.
TONEX Pedal Anniversary Limited Edition
IK is releasing a collector-grade, limited-edition TONEX Pedal in a custom white finish, handmade in Italy. The pedal comes pre-loaded with 150 Premium Tone Models created by select Tone Partners like The Studio Rats, Amalgam Audio, Worship Tutorials, Tone Junkie, and Jason Sadites. It’s available for preorder for $/€449.99.
AmpliTube 5 X Update Enhances TONEX Integration
A free update to AmpliTube 5, available now, introduces a new dedicated TONEX view for easier navigation of Tone Models and collections. Key features include:
- Search filters by Type, Instrument, Character, Favorite and Skin
- Drag and drop Tone Models into AmpliTube gear chain
- Load Tone Models by Skin from right panel
- “Open TONEX App” button for quick access to edit, rename or download more Tone Models from ToneNET
TONEX Tone Marathon Launches with RedSeven Collection
IK is kicking off a “TONEX Tone Marathon”, releasing new artist, brand and signature Tone Model collections each month through 2025. It starts with the official RedSeven Hybrid100 Signature Collection, featuring 34 Tone Models of the versatile Hybrid100 amplifier across its 3 channels, with both Amp+Cab and Amp-only captures. The collection is available now for $/€69.99.
ToneNET Reaches Major Milestones
ToneNET, the largest capture-sharing site for guitar tones, has reached over 35,000 Tone Models, including 7,000+ Premium Tone Models and 360+ Tone Partner Collections. It has seen over 3 million downloads as players discover and share an unmatched variety of tones.
Expanded TONEX Live Editor Coming Soon
The next scheduled TONEX update will introduce a real-time editor for quickly creating and saving custom tones to TONEX Pedal and TONEX ONE. The intuitive desktop editor will make it easier than ever to build stage-ready tones.
