The always-productive WrongTools team got in touch with us to announce the release of SPIN, an inspiring freebie with a nostalgic flair.
This free instrument showcases a duo of carousel music boxes, and in WrongTools words you can expect it to be “a portal to making filmmusic of nostalgia, playful childhood, mysterious slowmotion, and uplifting fairytales”.
SPIN was inspired by the purchase of two self-playing antique instruments at a thrift market: a Cylinder Music Box and a Carousel Music Box.
To spice things up the developers placed the music boxes on resonating wooden cases and then combined the two instruments into one KONTAKT PATCH for you to blend.
