Those smart minds at oeksound have released an update for their soothe2, probably our favorite “resonance killer” solution while mixing (see our soothe review).
In their words, the main focus of this 1.1.0 update has been to make soothe more accessible to everyone by designing and implementing a dedicated tutorial section into the plug-in.
The technology and workflow behind a plug-in like soothe2 is not always easy to grasp at a glance, and they hope the tutorial smoothes out the learning curve for people who are new to soothe, while simultaneously clearing some underlying questions about the plug-in for the more experienced users.
With the update they’ve also added new band-listen options, a whole bunch of new presets, as well as lots of bug fixes and some UI improvements.

FYI: the company recommends uninstalling the previous version before installing the update, just to make sure that everything works smoothly.
