Drambo Giveaway – Win The Coolest iOS App Of The Year (So Far!)
|
If there is one single music-making app that shows, right now, how far iOS developers have come, well that app is certainly Drambo, by BeepStreet.
In the company’s words, “Drambo is an innovative modular groovebox and audio processing environment. Modular components are used to build synthesized and sample-based instruments and audio effects using high-quality DSP and audio-rate modulation. Tied to a powerful sequencer, it’s an optimal music creation tool for sound design, composition, performance, and experimentation.”
As you can see in the video above, Drambo is an elegant, powerful, and EXTREMELY versatile environment – or shall we say “musical playground”? You might not necessarily be tempted to sell your Akai MPC or Elektron Octatrack (yet), but there’s sure lots of fun that can be had with Drambo, for beginners as well as for pro users.
Win Drambo!
Considering what it offers, at $20 Drambo is a steal. We’ll have more about this app soon, but in the meantime we want a few lucky readers to experience this app for free.
Just tell us in the comments below why Drambo tickles your fancy, and start crossing your fingers. Needless to say, we would also appreciate it if you share this post with your friends.
On May 18, we’ll draw 4 lucky winners who will be notified via email. Good luck! To learn more about Drambo, please visit the official web page.

I’d love this app because it seems extremely versatile and it looks like I can have an Octatrack for cheap…
Yep, cross my fingers …
Looks like an all in one solution for new music adventures. Unlimited possibilities for those who still haven’t found their creative workflow in other similar apps. I hope I will have the chance to win a Drambo code! Cheers!
I love sequencers and this one has catch my ear!
All in one pack
Drambo come to Papi
Drambo sounds like Rambo. I will also drink Drambuie while making beats on Drambo
I allways wanted a modular synth. See you soon Drambo
I like the user interface and the versatile environment. It doesn’t look like a menue diving which is a flow killer and the sound abilities look very promising.
Seems like a well thought out app, great for sketching out songs.
Because it’s a good way to start with modular stuff without connecting soooo many cables
Because looks very interesting, flexible, and demos sound colourful and dynamic. I’m sure this app will be the centre of my future productions.
I am curiuos about the modular concept. Have other iPad DAWs like BM3 and KORG Gadget, but would like to see another concept.
Drambo! The new sherif in town!
I’m really curious about this app based on all the HYPE it has received over that last year+ while it was in development. I really want to see if the modular style of production on iOS comes close to matching or exceeding the flexibility of physical modular systems.
I can see huge potential in linking up the modular stuff with other apps via Audio Unit/IAA and I think it would be cool to have the chance to experiment with it.
Also, the icon is nice and would look great on my home screen.
I’m keen on this app because it is from a very respected developer for iOS! All of their apps I have and it is masterpieces on their own! Just don’t have money right now, otherwise instabuy! And of course, the new concept, which is beyond the modular synth or rack concept, is very interesting! )))
giveways can heal the hope on this darker days with ligth. God bless you.
Drambo would make a perfect companion to my Akai Force
I always attempt to use original, innovative apps because with them I get a more interesting result. I think that the fact is that the environment influences us very much, and when creating music (using software), our environment is the app that we use. Therefore, the app must be interesting and inspiring. Drambo looks just like that so I would like to get it.
looks & sounds brilliant! great UI
I have a bit of a Groovebox obsession, and I’m always running up against the tension between an integrated all-in-one design vs the limitations that creates. Drambo looks like an excellent design with enough flexibility to keep going deeper.
Drambo looks like such a complete solution for synthing , sampling, and sequencing. I’m planning on getting a new iPad just to use it!
The best sequencer actually, IMHO! Good luck to everyone!
id like to win because i cant afford to buy it
I’m interested in the modular element — seems pretty unique and great, lightweight way to access some of the joys of synthesis, sampling and sequencing.
Wow! Recently, I almost did not follow new instruments, but I am very glad that I saw this. Definitely worth attention. Thank you. I would love to win it because it perfectly fits my workflow.
sequencers were invented so that I could make music.
Ok, it seems I’m ready to create masterpieces using Drambo. So far, my masterpieces have not worked out very well, but now everything will change.
That’s what I love about producing music on iOS. They made the process itself great again.
Yeah, everyone loves modulars. And this one much more than an ordinary modular. It seems like something to dive into for a long time. As I love. Easier than DAW, but quite self-sufficient.
It seems like the most expressive and performance oriented groove box for iOS. Combining elements from modular and elektron workflows seems like it could be a powerful tool. Super intrigued to see how it will evolve
I have been seriously been looking for the perfect groovebox for me for ages. Seriously in both physical and in iPad app form, but have yet to find anything that I can dive deep into, and loose myself in the creative flow. From the looks of it, this might be the most intriguing, and not to mention potentially capable one yet! Can’t wait to see what it can do!!
After all the euphoric comments and feedback I have read so fat I am pretty curious to try that out by myself.
It is so exiting to have the chance of a modular groovebox kind of thing in my pocket.
I love exploring new things to get inspired for new tracks and this jewel looks quite comprising – thank you so much for the chance to win it here – good luck to everybody
Drambo tickles my fancy for a couple of reasons. I love all other apps from this developer and it would be very cool to see how this app implements modular synthesis.
I sense drambo will empower the force in my hands. Peace
I had a Novation Circuit a while back but needed to sell it to pay some bills and never got around to buying another one after getting into IOS recording. From the videos I have seen Drambo has that Circuit feel on a IOS app, been waiting for a sale but maybe I will get lucky here.
Thanks for doing this giveaway.
Just got an iPad and barely have any apps. Modular groovebox sounds perfect. 🙂
Drambo, just for the name Rambo in it I want to have it… Nah well the videos I saw so far are really nice and at the moment I’m honest I just can’t afford to buy the good stuff that’s coming out 🙂
Love to win. It looks awesome and sounds great.
Wow! It is fantastic!
Drambo is a flux capacitor.
Being a mobile only producers, adding drambo to my arsenal would be a killer.but covid 19 messed my bank up
Being a mobile only producers, adding drambo to my arsenal would be a killer.but covid 19 messed my bank up. 🙂
I’ve been looking at this app since it come out! it looks really COOL!! sadly I can not afford anything right now for the killer covid 19 has me out of work… I feel Drambo would add another AWESOME layer to my live set up.. FINGERS CROSSED
Really really want Drambo! Already have other apps by this developer and there are amazing. But this is a game changer!
Drambo really looks like it could de-mystefy modular for me. I need all the help I can get….
I love this application, for its sound, its interface, its sequencer. I have seen all the tutorials out there and as a IOS producer I feel that it is a fundamental tool.
I am from Argentina, a country in economic crisis, where 1 dollar is worth 120 Argentine pesos, so it would be really satisfying to be able to access this privilege. Thank you for this possibility, good luck to all!
i want to make a travel kit to take around the world, i really want to take a modular kit but a. i dont have have one, and b. too much hassle. drambo seems like an answer to many problems and a solution to creative production. i am not sure the name is the best, but anyway…
Drambo is one of those apps that looks interesting in that it appears to be incredibly flexible, but due to it’s modular approach to patching looks like it would be difficult to learn. I’ve seen demos, in which it sounds sounds amazing, but the high cost is somewhat prohibitive. Winning it as a prize in a giveaway would remedy that problem, and allow me to explore its possibilities. Looks like it is capable of quite a lot and is likely worth every penny.
I just found out that Drambo has physical modeling that can be triggered by audio! I. Want. That.
So far, I did not dare to deal with any kind of modular, but it’s time to move to a higher level.
Drambo strategically melts and twist sound waves, organize the result to your content, so hypnotize people becomes easier.
i always liked dumbo, so i will love drambo
Drambo looks much better then those old Stallone movies.
Plain and simple it just looks like SO MUCH FUN!!!!
I would love to play with Drambo’s step sequencer, probability features and p-locks!
I Love sequencers and this one looks so special
I’m a relative newbie to IOS music production and I thought Drambo (and all the interest in it in terms of explanatory videos) would be a great introduction to Modular Synths.
