I hear you, especially when it comes to software, we have too much choice (often with an excellent price/quality ratio) and that’s not necessarily a good thing. With this article, I tried to offer a real-life scenario, with affordable instruments and effects I have actually used while working on this project. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t a be-all and end-all kind of list – I’m perfectly aware that there are tons of equally great plugins and libraries I haven’t mentioned.
