As you can see in the Instagram clip below, Hermod is a Eurorack sequencer (or “a modular brain”, in their words) clearly inspired by the Pyramid. Talking to the Squarp team months ago at SuperBooth, we learned there was something Eurorack-related was cooking in their labs, and it’s nice to be able to see the results of this work.
From what we can notice in the video, the unit seems to offer 16 outs, so 8 CV+gate tracks, which corresponds to the 1-8 buttons, plus MIDI In & Out (DIN) and USB Host capabilities. Also, the screen is showing 8 variable length tracks running, similar to the alternate display for the track view on the Pyramid.
Stay tuned, we’ll have more about Squarp Hermod soon. Also, if you happen to be in Paris, on October 28th Squarp will introduce Hermod with an event at the Modularsquare store.
