Splice Sounds is a popular and very affordable online platform (see our Splice Sounds review) that allows you to browse over 1 million sounds from the world’s best providers.
You can preview and download individual sounds and they constantly add new sample packs, including some exclusive ones, made by the world’s most famous producers.
The latest is called Ambrosia Frequencies and it’s Machinedrum’s first sample pack on Splice: a sweeping journey through drum and bass, hip hop, future bass and more.
Ambrosia features 162 original sounds, from dreamy acoustic guitar and crisp vocal hits to massive bass stabs, ambient drones and drum shots.
Splice has also just released the Volume 5 of the ‘Infamous” series by Havoc, ideal to get that classic Mobb Deep sound.
This sample pack features 123 original loops and oneshots, including drum breaks & musical loops, 808 shots and basslines, kicks, snares & claps, cymbals and percussion, synths and vocals.

Amazing what you can do now! Has anyone else been using mixola to sequence their stems/vocals/samples and share the mix? Its interesting because the mix you share can be remixed by your fans and reshared without anyone needing a DAW, (so it can go viral) its not going to replace a DAW anytime soon but its getting really interesting what you can now do with just a web browser.
