KORG iWAVESTATION – The Wave Sequence Synthesizer for iPad Is Here

Remember the ’90s cult KORG WAVESTATION synthesizer? Its advanced vector synthesis system, based on Sequential Circuits’ ProphetVS, combined and shifted between multiple complex waveforms. The user could operate a joystick to “mix” or “morph” between four oscillators selected from the large onboard collection of waveforms.

Over the years, the KORG WAVESTATION has been a favorite of ambient and experimental artist because of its lush ambient sounds and strange effects.

In 2004, KORG launched a virtual emulation of this popular synth in its Legacy Collection. Today KORG introduced iWAVESTATION, evolving the operability of the KORG Legacy Collection.

The original editing structure has been preserved while giving users a redesigned graphical interface that takes advantage of the intuitive operation possible with iPad.
