Lubomyr Melnyk -The Continuous Music Man

Lubomyr Melnyk: write down this name if you don’t know him yet. He’s a Ukrainian composer and pianist who has pioneered ‘Continuous Piano Music’ and is considered one of the truly great innovators of the piano.
Classically trained and greatly affected by the minimalist movement in the early 1970s, he has developed a unique language for the piano, named after the principle of maintaining a continuous, unbroken stream of sound.
Lubomyr Melnyk’s latest works (Evertina & Corollaries) have been published by Erased Tapes. Check out both his old and new stuff, you won’t regret it.
