Logic 8, or better, Logic Pro 8, just had its first (little) update, 8.0.1. From early reports, if your software update did not warn you about this release, it means that your copy is not registered yet. So if you forgot about that, it could be the right moment to do it. Anyway, you can get the update also from Apple’s website: http://www.apple.com/logicstudio/download/. What’s addressed in this update? Let’s see what Apple says (from the Late-Breaking News About Logic Pro 8.0.1 document ): Logic Pro 8.0.1 is a maintenance release that addresses isolated reliability and stability issues, along with minor corrections to the following areas of the application:
Right mouse button preferences
Giant Bar and Giant SMPTE Display windows
SMPTE view offset
Marker text input
Channel strip Level fader display
